We’re currently gathering quotes for a small bathroom renovation to understand costs and see what fits within our budget.
If we find the right supplier at the right price, we’d be looking to move ahead fairly quickly.
This is a labour-only job. We will supply all tiles, sanitaryware, fixtures and fittings ourselves.
Scope of works
- Wall tiling using 600x300mm tiles
- Floor tiling using 600x600mm tiles
Fit new:
- Bath
- Toilet
- Sink/vanity
- Heated towel rail
- Move pull cord light to outside switch
- Replace light on ceiling
- Make good and finish neatly to hide pipes.
- The walls seem to be in good condition as there is only a small amount of current tiling.
We will remove the existing tiles ourselves before work begins.

- Ceiling to top of bath: 1.87m
- Door to window wall: 1.66m
- Width: 2.43m
- Height: 2.46m
- Window opening: 1.00m x 0.93m

This is a labour-only job, as we will supply all tiles, sanitaryware, fixtures and fittings ourselves.
We are looking to move forward once we have found the right fitter and agreed costs and timings.
Scope of works
- Wall tiling using 600x300mm tiles
- Floor tiling using 600x600mm tiles
Install new:
- Bath
- Toilet
- Sink/vanity unit
- Heated towel rail
- Ceiling light
- Move existing pull cord light switch to wall switch outside bathroom
Additional works:
- Box in/hide visible pipework neatly where possible
- Make good and finish to a high standard
- Existing walls appear to be in good condition with only limited existing tiling
- Ceiling skim and paint
We will remove the existing tiles before work begins.

You provide labour + consumables + installation
🔧 Scope (summary)
Remove existing bath, toilet, basin/vanity, shower and flooring
Strengthen timber floor (currently slightly bouncy) and ply overboard
Fit supplied flooring (sealed, no movement)
Tile bath/shower area (tile-over-tile with proper waterproofing)
Install wall panels to remaining walls
Fit bath, toilet, basin/vanity and all plumbing (fully leak tested)
Replace electric shower and confirm electrics + certification
🧱 Additional items
Remove unused internal window above door and cover with wall panelling
Box in small gap at tap end of bath (~3–4cm) neatly (MDF or similar)
Finish internal openings, trims, edges and sealing throughout

💡 Budget / approach: All items have been purchased my budget only covers this is a labour and consumables only job with a very tight budget. I dont have much space to manoeuvre but still happy to talk about this and options.
Im also happy to talk to people who dont have all the skills or labour to do the whole scheme - therefore make clear what you can and cannot do and provide an itemised job quote.
