I highly recommend BCL Solutions. Ovi and his assistant were very professional, hardworking, fast and happy to discuss any questions I had. They did a marvelous job on my terraced house roof, which badly needed a complete renew, which was done. My decking was also repaired and painted. The work was completed efficiently, on time and for a fair price. They also cleaned up carefully. David did an excellent job. Knowing that I had hired some trademen prior to this via Mybuilder who did an appalling job. David was keen not to repeat the experience. He was transparent throughout with costs and kept me updated throughout the job. Mark comes across personable, knowledgeable and confident and they have so many good reviews... BUT There were so many red flags too. Mark offers cheap scaffolding to secure jobs, says he cannot provide a quote until he has had a look under the tiles, then instructs his team to make big holes all over your roof. This way, he turns small jobs into huge ones. He insists on agreeing a detailed contract but then doesn't deliver on any if it (from missing off huge sections of roof down to using the wrong nails.) His team usually arrive to start work after 11 am, will finish a job in the dark, carelessly break tiles and leave sharp debris everywhere. Mark does not take feedback well and becomes emotional when discussing non payment. We are worse off than before and have blocked gutters and tiles cracking/ falling off. We now need to urgently get another roofer to check what theyve done.

We had a quote which gave the impression it would take a day and was for £650. I thought that was a bit steep for a day, but if that's what it is, then so be it. They arrived at 9 and I was somewhat surprised when at 10 o'clock they said they had finished. £650 an hour! there were two, but there was only one ladder with one person working. Premier Roofing did an excellent job replacing the roof on my ground-floor extension room. John was reliable and friendly and inspected every detail of the work as it progressed.
