The gas valve needed replacing and the electrodes needed cleaning. The boiler was 20 years old but Petre obtained a replacement gas valve. I also elected to have the electrodes replaced at the same time. Petre returned the next day to fit these and the boiler is now working perfectly. He sent me videos of problems as I couldn’t be there for much of his work which helped me understand the issues and to build trust.
