Get in touchNathan came to fit a couple of bedroom carpets in Hackney. Unfortunately, we were not pleased with with standard of the fitting. The main issue was that the carpet was not fitted properly. It was left with lumps and bumps in it. There was also confusion about who was supplying grippers and bars and he didn’t turn up with any as you might expect a carpet fitter to. We contacted Nathan about the lumps in the carpet in particular but he said they were due to the carpet being overstretched already (as it was being relaid from my property to my daughters). He said he would come back to take a look at it, but couldn’t provide a time to finish the job off and hasn’t followed up. We therefore had no option but to contact another fitter who has now fitted the carpet perfectly at an additional cost. - Get in touchGave an initial quote at mybuilder for £1325. Went to his shop to discuss the requirement, quoted £1500 for the entire work. 2 weeks later as discussed, came and completed the job, but started asking for £1750 despite the fact nothing additional was done rather they left the boiler cabinet undone. When I said I can only pay £1500 as discussed he abused me to no end. Needless to say, I would never recommend them to anyone. Work quality: Did not do the boiler cabinet (picture attached, grey carpet is new installation, beige is old). Left the entire rubbish of installation in the rooms. Took me 2 hours to vaccum and clean everything. Additionally, now two months in and the floor creaks more than earlier because of how they fit the carpet. At least I got new carpets, but got abuse for free. Thanks for the unpleasant experience to make me understand how to deal with traders.
