Mark comes across personable, knowledgeable and confident and they have so many good reviews... BUT There were so many red flags too. Mark offers cheap scaffolding to secure jobs, says he cannot provide a quote until he has had a look under the tiles, then instructs his team to make big holes all over your roof. This way, he turns small jobs into huge ones. He insists on agreeing a detailed contract but then doesn't deliver on any if it (from missing off huge sections of roof down to using the wrong nails.) His team usually arrive to start work after 11 am, will finish a job in the dark, carelessly break tiles and leave sharp debris everywhere. Mark does not take feedback well and becomes emotional when discussing non payment. We are worse off than before and have blocked gutters and tiles cracking/ falling off. We now need to urgently get another roofer to check what theyve done.

Excellent advise and services received from Oxfordshire Roofing and Building, they were very friendly, caring and polite. Went above and beyond by being very helpful and informative on advising me how to deal with a not so reputable trader I had encountered for my work. Edward and his team fixed my pitched roof tiles/leak and did a professional job, at short notice and at a reasonable price. When I requested help for my guttering to be put back up, this company was one of the choices that came up as being interested in carrying out the job for me so I messaged asking for a quote (as David was close to where I live and his previous feedback was positive). He phoned me within 10 minutes of me leaving the message with a very reasonable quote which I appreciated. He organised the job to be done last Sunday and two of his employees came and did the job on Tuesday (just two days after our phone call). They did a great job and because my guttering wasn’t up to scratch to just put back up, they used their own material and didn’t charge us any more. We paid them cash but they also accept BACS/card.
