I'm so glad I chose LEP Construction. I had been worried about finding a reliable trustworthy company to build my extension - a big project that has made my home work better for me. Lou was easy to work with, minimised disruption during the building works and discussed any aspects which needed changing or were not fully detailed on the architects plans. First - it's a beautiful extension Second - Nelson's team is excellent. He does exactly what it 'says on the tin' and.... he really does. Believe me I wasn't that impressed by Acorn when they visited to quote for the job but that's because they do don't need to impress.....You get what you need, and want, and it feels too unreal. You could easily dismiss them... DON'T! In a day and age where promises are rarely delivered this is the team and management you need on your project. You will not be disappointed. From the outset it has been clear what they are providing; the payment schedule was almost 100% exact. The slight negotiation was on electrics, but hey!... we can work with that. I could always call Nelson, and actually he's old skool - calling solves loads of issues. If I can show pictures here the work involved 'hard labour'. Snow plagued the project, increased the water table, I live by a canal, and generally made life difficult - but they soldiered on and I never heard a word of complaint. I'm writing this looking back at photos and thinking - how did they do that? "If you have a problem, if no one else can help, and if you can find them, maybe you can hire the A-Team." THE ACORN TEAM You know you want to, come on! sing it! De de dah dah! Der dan duh! Der der der dur! Der dah dah dah dun dah! I was looking for someone that could stabilize an external supporting wall of a barn but despite various attempts could not gain a recommendation locally for a suitable builder. Having made contact with Matthew through myBuilder.com we arranged to meet at the property. He made the appointment on time and instantly put me at ease with his demeanor, my feeling was that he talked with experience and honesty. He quoted for the job and we agreed a date for the works. He requested a deposit was paid which is reasonable as he would need to buy materials but I have to admit made me nervous as not knowing him I would have found it hard to track him down to reclaim the deposit if he disappeared. At some point you just need to trust in the person and I'm happy to report it all ended well. Matthew completed the works as agreed to my satisfaction and more importantly to the satisfaction of the neighbour whose garden the wall was falling into. I have found Matthew pleasant and trustworthy and if needed would not hesitate to use him again.

George has fitted our kitchen, utility room, and installed a new downstairs cloakroom from scratch including all plumbing and sewer connections. George is very friendly and knowledgeable and always tries to find ways to save money whilst always doing an excellent job. He works hard and shows up when he says he’s going to, unlike our old builders! We are doing a full house renovation and will definitely be asking George back to do some more work when the time comes. Highly recommended.
