Dave did a real good job. The cloakroom looks better than I imagined. The tiling was good and Dave had boxed in all of the pipe work which gave it a very professional finish.

We hired Andy Skinner when we moved into our new house which needed a lot of updating, including - fitting a new kitchen (with tiling), completely insulating the roof and upper section of the house, removal of a chimney, and organising a plasterer plus plumber and electrician for new heating system. Andy was absolutely brilliant. Not only is his work of an exceptional standard but he is clean and tidy, a great guy to have around and is flexible in his approach to his all the jobs. He offers useful input and his attention to detail is absolutely brilliant. He thinks everything through and is happy to discuss changes along the way. We would highly recommend him to anyone needing a competent carpenter/builder. We have already employed him to do further work for us!!!

Very disappointed with the work done by Darren and his team. The plastering was disgraceful ( which Darren agreed was bad, his reason was I don’t do it very often) chip board was used to box in the toilet soil pipe, this is a no no in a wet eviorment, the radiator was not fixed to the wall correctly and screws were used to level the rad, screw was placed under rad and on top of the rad bracket to try and stop it wobbling. the tiler had to come back as it looked like he had used a jig saw to cut the tile around the shower controls, once this was put right it look ok, the electrical work was the straw that broke the camels back, bare wires, extracter fan not connnected to pipe work so steam from the shower was being blown directly into the loft, this could have caused all sorts of problems if not discovered. Darren agreed to send in a professional plasterer to plaster the walls , when he arrived he was completely shocked by the standard of work, and refused to plaster the bathroom as it was. Darren and I have agreed to part company, I am now employing another builder, electrician, and the plasterer to put right all the very poor work done. It’s a shame I can’t add pictures to this review to show the full extent of how bad it all was.
