I kept in contact via WhatsApp and checked all purchases and did not mind waiting til 19th August. Our bathroom is small but I trusted he understood our needs and my little project. The week before he said his van had been knocked and was to be written off. Not equipment stolen. This meant things looked ‘grim’ for at least a month. Now he has sent a message having ignored my husband trying to call him to discuss alternative travel etc He says he has decided to retire rather than reignite his business, leaving us with a bathroom that has deteriorated more since Feb, a wasted bought hipposkip and new bathroom fixtures, fittings and tiles all over the place. Josef was very friendly and courteous every time he came and it felt normal having him in the house, even with 3 small children running about. His communication was good throughout as well.
