Rating: 5 out of 5 55320 reviewsHi, I'm a traditional time served staircase joiner, I completed a five year apprenticeship at a company in Lancashire that has been going for over 175 years, the company I worked for and the men I served under taught me good old fashioned values, and if a job is worth doing it's worth doing right. I only repair stairs, I'm a specialist in this field, I'm not like a lot of tradesmen , kitchen one day, laminate flooring the next, JUST STAIRS, and good old fashioned value. Thank you Chris
Get in touchChris replaced our winder section of stairs that had broken. It is now much sturdier than it ever has been, doesn’t even squeak, and he even fixed a couple of bits of loose carpet for me while he was at it. He’s dead friendly and I wouldn’t hesitate to hire him again.Latest review:Carpentry- - Get in touchMark fitted 4 internal doors which needed trimming adjustments to fit eneven existing frames. Get in touchThe work was excellent. A beautiful finish. They worked quite quickly and left the place in good condition. His was the highest quote I got, but I chose him because he really knows his stuff about firedoors so I could be sure the result would pass muster and because he could do the job soon. He asked for the cost of all the materials in advance as well as half the labour; this felt unusual but he did deliver. He charged extra for the plastering job that would have been included in a quote from the other good joiner who quoted. You can trust him to do an excellent job.Latest review:Carpentry- - Athena Joinery & Renovations LtdCarpenter & Joiner in Malton

Get in touchLee from Athena Joinery stepped in at the last minute when our joiner was unable to work for us. Fantastic service and great communication - his team repaired broken floorboards, over boarded floors, lay laminate flooring, boxed in pipes, refitted kitchen units and new plinths, resized and rehung various doors. They really went the extra mile and were thoroughly professional. Excellent quality work, we would not hesitate to recommend and look forward to working with Lee on our next project.Latest review:Carpentry- - T.
