The builder got back to us in quick time and visited the next day after putting in the request on MyBuilder. We wanted an initial investigation to identify if lintels were required. Within a short amount of time, he had opened up the mortar around one of the bricks to show that there were steel ties and hence a lintel may not be needed. Came across as very knowledgeable and was prompt and efficient. Have got their details now and would certainly approach for future work.Latest review:Repointing-

Tommy ( TM Bricklaying) was very quick to respond when my job was posted and just as quick to visit and supply estimate. I accepted his quote, and when given the go ahead, he responded immediately with a date. He completed the job on the day he said, his work was excellent and the repair to stone wall blended in very well. I would highly recommend him, he was punctual and polite ( rare these days) and easy to deal with throughout and the price was very competitive. Jim was absolutely first class from initial home visit, quote, and then starting the job. He went above and beyond on what turned out to be a nightmare of a job. He had to do more work than he thought and smash through layers of concrete. Always with a smile. He was highly amusing to watch and a very personable guy. Never once asked for more than initially quoted. I would highly recommend. He is clearly a very skilled builder, and takes pride in his work.
