Ken contacted very promptly and arrived when he said he would. He assessed the job and pointed out that a new trapdoor may be needed and phoned shortly after to arrange the date the work would be done. As promised the two man team arrived promptly and got on with the task whilst keeping us informed of any small modifications needed. They worked non stop until the job was done. They were both courteous and efficient and I have no hesitation in recommending Ken and his team to anyone, indeed I intend to contact Ken again to ask about another job.

This is going to be a slightly different type of review. It’s going to come in 2 different parts ( job paused due to necessary involvement of other services) Part 1. On day 1 when I made contact to obtain a quotation this company demonstrated a polite friendly and professional manner there is a family vibe with Gemma (Lee’s wife) dealing with the administrative side which leaves Lee free to provide the quotations. Lee is a very thorough talented carpenter and also displays excellent time keeping/ / very clean and tidy work area / he explains everything ensuring that you understand & are happy. Lee has had to pause work due to issues my end which he is being patient with despite it being a disruption for him. Both Gemma& Lee are being very helpful. So part 2 to follow when work resumes but so far this company is very impressive?

Ben is professional, patient and trustworthy and got the kitchen up and in and organised the tiler's, another 2 lovely trustworthy men! Despite my anxiety (it's my first ever kitchen) he was helpful and made sure I was happy, anything that I had a query about or needed changing he took it on board and actioned it. Communication is key when your having a job done in your home and keeping an open dialogue and avoiding assumptions is a big part of that. Thanks to Ben for organising everything from delivery from Howdens fitting and liaising with other trades. Amazing! Now I can enjoy my new kitchen and relearn how to cook!! I would recommend Ben, thank you.

Superb work from Jim and Malcolm! We had a partition wall installed along with adding new lighting, switches and sockets. Jim is a very skilled carpenter and builder while his dad, Malcolm, takes care of the electrical work. Throughout they were thorough and professional, with regular updates and always checking exactly how we wanted things. Jim finished the building work to a very high standard including painting and finishing. Malcolm completed the electics professionally with thorough safety compliance. Highly recommended for any building work, would use again without hesitation.

Ian was absolutely excellent, first class. I'm always a little bit apprehensive about using somebody I've never worked with for the first time, and this was a tricky problem which was difficult to diagnose. From the moment Ian arrived on site, I felt comfortable that he really knew what he was talking about and really cared about getting the resolution that I needed. It's fair to say that watching Ian work is a little bit like watching a magician work. Quite how he worked out where the leak was in our field is a little bit beyond me, but he absolutely nailed it, was able to solve a problem that nobody else was able to solve, and then went above and beyond, spending many hours on the phone with the local water authority to get my problem issued, get people out to site and diagnose and admit fault. Ian did all of this without any prompting from me and kept me informed and up to date at all times. He's a super nice guy too. I couldn't recommend Ian more.

Professional and polite, amazing guy who went above and beyond. Not an easy banisters replacement as theres not a right angle in the house. Unfortunately, I have had to edit the rating. Our bannisters broke as wasn't secured properly. Over the past few weeks we have messaged, what's app'd and called with a promise ill get back to you to get it fixed. He is now not picking up the phone calls. After service care is not great, so will not be hiring again.
