I have over 30 years' experience within Architecture and have worked throughout the UK on a wide variety of projects from inception to completion supporting my clients throughout their development. Initially I work with the client to get their ideas and desires into drawings which I then develop into either Planning drawings, or Working drawings for Building Regulation approval and costing depending what stage the project is at. I especially love working within the residential sector as one of my degrees is Interior Design and I feel this area gives me the opportunity to incorporate more of these skills. I also have a special interest in historic buildings and have undertaken numerous projects on historic buildings, some listed and within conservation areas. One project was the conversion and alterations to a grade 2 listed town house for which I won a LABC building excellence award. Buildings need to breath to provide happy, healthy environments for us to live and work. How we design and specify building alterations, treatments and materials will ensure these buildings can continue to provide happy, healthy environments for us to use for many years to come.

I am currently a young professional undertaking my Part 2 Architectural studies as a L7 Architecture Apprenticeship. I am now entering my 4th year of working for an Architecture practice and have worked on a series of residential jobs, inducing design, planning and construction drawings. I have also taken jobs to completion on site, whether this be working closely with clients as a main point of contact or on a ad hoc basis. Since graduating with a degree in architectural technology I have worked on various sets of drawings from the planning stages through to the construction drawings. Working on various types of projects but predominantly residential projects such as new builds and house extensions. These range from basic plans to highly detailed construction drawings to meet building regulation requirements. I am currently based in Corby, Northamptonshire but not limited to this area.
