I am currently a young professional undertaking my Part 2 Architectural studies as a L7 Architecture Apprenticeship. I am now entering my 4th year of working for an Architecture practice and have worked on a series of residential jobs, inducing design, planning and construction drawings. I have also taken jobs to completion on site, whether this be working closely with clients as a main point of contact or on a ad hoc basis. This has added to my previous 6 years experience working with an award-winning Landscape Architect, which is still an ongoing relationship.

I am a self employed Carpenter based in Melton Mowbray who is passionate about all areas of woodworking. My website shows various photos of recently completed projects including external works such as decking, bars, and planters, as well as internal works such as bathroom fittings and wall art. I am obsessed with planning and preparing a job properly as this makes it run much more smoothly when it comes to start. Any elements of a project that can be made off -site I will make in my workshop reducing the amount of time I need to spend at a customers property. If required for larger projects I will provide detailed plans or 3D drawings to a customer for approval prior to starting.

We initially gave Gary a brief of what we had been thinking about, but we also asked him to be creative and open our minds to new ideas. The concept designs he produced were fantastic, they shaped our thoughts, opened our views about what we wanted, but also narrowed down some of the big decisions we needed to make to come to an agreed concept. Gary also managed the whole planning approvals process as he finalised the detailed drawings and plans. He has also helped us select a skilled builder who is now undertaking the work. We are very grateful to Gary for his experience and skills as an architect, and we also very much appreciate that he listened and advised us on the key areas that matter.
