  • I've worked on and off in the construction / building industry since leaving school in 1984. I went to the CITB collage in Norfolk for a year completing a city and guilds in general construction which included shuttering joinery, basic joinery, waste water, installation of sewage pipes, block paving, flagging and landscaping. I've worked as a shuttering joiner on some large projects in the North West such as Thelwall Viaduct and the Wheatsheaf shopping centre in Rochdale. I completed my joinery NVQ level 2 in 1991 which consisted mainly of first and second fix joinery along with roofing. I regularly replace doors in existing doorframes, install new doorframes and doors, architraves, lay herringbone solid wood flooring and luxury vinyl tiles and fit skirting board's. I enjoy working outdoors too, assisting clients with bespoke covered outdoor living spaces for cooking and socialising, installing composite decking and traditional timber decking, composite and timber fencing, and block paving. I can offer many general building and maintenance skills, however I am not able to personally install gas plumbing or electrical works. I do regularly work with people who are qualified to assist in these areas.

  • Hello, my name’s Dan and I work for a small window company that was once run by the head fitter of Everest. Since he retired, my older brother took over the company and I have been working alongside him for the 5 years that he’s been running the business. All of our work is recommendation and we do not advertise. I am on my builder because I am looking to undertake some smaller repair jobs such as broken locks, handles and glass changes. I can even mess around with more fiddly things as we do a lot of fascia’s, soffits, guttering and cladding. Anything that’s plastic, involves a lock or a broken handle, I can help. Being that my brother and I work for ourselves, we pride ourselves on our work, our attention to detail and our cleanliness. You won’t find better aftercare or a better service, I’m confident. If I can’t help you, I won’t pretend that I can, that way I can guarantee all my work is done properly and professionally. Get in touch if you aren’t sure if I cover what you’re after or if you are and you just want to make an inquiry.
