Our garden had been pretty much unused since it was flooded in 2015. We had tried replacing the grass a couple of times ourselves, but it always died because of poor drainage due to clay soil. Michael dug out the whole area out and installed 2 french drains, improved the top soil and re-turfed the grass, laid some slate for a patio, and repurposed some existing paving slabs as a base for our shed, prolonging its life and saving us cash. The drainage has really worked, the water no longer sits on the surface and the lawn is flourishing! The patio area and the garden in general - has given our home another room. We couldn't be happier! Michael completed the whole job over 2 weeks - just like he said he would. I wouldn't hesitate in asking him to do further work for us, his workmanship is top quality.

Don and Dan converted our conservatory into an extension of the living room, laid a new floor, installed velux windows in the roof, repositioned radiators and provided new lighting and sockets. They were both punctual and polite and it was a pleasure to have Don and Dan undertake the work for us. They always involved us in any decisions regarding the work and offered very helpful suggestions about planning and buying materials. Their knowledge and the quality of their workmanship was second to none and we would wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone wanting any home improvements carried out.

We were really happy with our experience with YBF Pearson. The project was a single storey extension, and Rod project-managed it all from start to finish. He was always on top of what was going on, and communicated to us at every stage. We've never done anything like this before and so we didn't know what to expect, but we were really kept in the picture and were able to direct how we wanted things to be. The quality of the work is great, everything looks fantastic. We were able to have open discussions with Rod about budget and he was clear about what we could achieve for what we were willing to spend, and there were no unexpected costs or bumps in the road. Rod is a pleasure to deal with and overall we have come away really happy.
