Our main focus is on small to medium size refurbs, the kind of jobs where we can be creative and come up with unique solutions, whether that be a kitchen, bathroom, bedroom or a living room. I hate big firms who just re-sell mass manufactured products, so I try to keep as much of the work, from the initial design and drawings through hand making all of my joinery in the workshop to install and completion done in house, with the exception of plumbing and electrical work for which I use people who are a lot more qualified and experienced than me! I'm a self employed cabinet maker/joiner and site carpenter. I started at 17 in a workshop in Essex then moved to London in 1986 and worked for Jo Dixon joinery. In that era I worked on several architectural jobs with Kevin McCloud, made a pair of colonial chairs for Jeffrey Archer, a kitchen for Timothy Dalton, and an 11 meter veneered dining table for Mme Schulmberger in Paris, Part of a major £3m refurbishment to her apartment. I now work at my home based workshop in Shoreham.
