Although he was more expensive than the previous builder, I felt he was sincere and he actually went up a ladder to inspected the gutter properly! He also explained the problem in depth. I however asked him to take photo of the rotten/repaired rafter as I couldn’t stay until the completion of work. However, he only sent photos of the completed job. Get in touchExcellent work. The team replaced our guttering very professionally, including cleaning the soffits and installing a support tray all round. They also surveyed the roof, both visually while they were working on the guttering and using a drone. As a result further repair work was identified as needed, which they carried out with the same degree of professionalism. Communication throughout was very good, and the site team were pleasant to have around. The guttering job was through a bid process using MyBuilder. Nuvex were not the cheapest, nor the most expensive, but impressed with their knowledge and attitude. The charge for the repair work could not be tested by competitive bid. It would be helpful in such circumstances to have a more open costing approach to give the customer more confidence while at the same time ensuring a proper level of profitability.
