Get in touchInitially I was a little sceptical about looking on My Builder, but I really shouldn’t have been. From initial contact with Darren, he was completely professional. When he quoted the job, he arrived on time, explained all the options and ultimately respected my choices. We scheduled the job for a few weeks later and Darren even brought Mark (our fitter) around to meet us prior to the job starting. During the job, Mark arrived on time every day, and his workmanship was to the highest possible standard. At the end of each day he showed us what he’d achieved and explained what was planned for the following day. Mark was a real ‘grafter’ and his attention to detail is amazing. During the job we also had regular communication with Darren; he would either call or pop in to see how the job was going. We now have an amazing, modern en-suite which we’ll get many years out of. Personally, I wouldn’t hesitate to bring back Darren and Mark for further work. Fantastic job guys.

The shower room was left clean and tidy and the alteration from bathroom to shower room was done to a very high standard. - Get in touchI recently hired Mark to tile my floor, install a shower tray, and put up a shower screen. Not only was Mark extremely punctual, arriving exactly when promised or earlier, but his communication throughout the entire process was exceptional. He kept me informed every step of the way, answering all my questions promptly and thoroughly. He provided excellent value for money. Seth advised us and fitted a toilet with an integrated basin, Seth's excellent idea to save space in a small room. All work done to a high standard and left everything clean and tidy. He used thick black screws which were left proud & also split the wood. There were gaps & toilet was wobbly. He did come back & rather than refund he insisted on doing the job again. The boxing in was better but for days there was a nasty smell and damp patch on the wood. I had to get a plumber in. The leak was coming from the flexihose attached to the water pipe! The smell was because he had not fitted the rubber seal around the pan connector so I had an open sewer drain in my bathroom. The toilet was wobbly because he did not screw it down properly to the floor. I messaged him but he ignored me. After a few days I phoned him but he would not answer. Finally he answered. I explained the above problems and asked for a partial refund even though all of the job was terrible. He refused & then started to get nasty. He then put the phone down on me. I'm nearly 80 and feel so ashamed that I allowed this man to take my money.
