Their work was excellent and they completed all works requested in good time, and were even able to complete some additional tasks requested by me for reasonable additional costs. Works schedule provided to ensure clear list of work that would be completed by the builder and what needs to be supplied by ourselves. Approx timescale of 3 months work for completion. Workman were very punctual and all hardworking. At each stage of the renovation any additional works required were agreed before proceeding. Due to the condition of our internal walls we needed to agree additional work to replace them. Builder agreed to plaster board plus labour, which was as expected. All jobs at each stage were organised by the builder and at no stage were there any hold ups. There were some issues with the double glazing firm used but again A1 builders organised replacements and communicated with all parties to ensure the project completed on time. At any stage if something didn't look right from our original request we were consulted before proceeding. Example was we had originally requested two velux window in our extension but before cutting out we were advised that 3 would look better and let in more light. We are so glad we chose this option because A1 builders were correct. We also requested A1 builders to fit our Kitchen and tile our floor which again was in addition but we we agreed on a price before work started. All work was carried out to a high standard and exceeded our expectations. All workmen used by A1 builders were hard working and left work areas tidy before leaving the premises.
