Phil was very thorough when he came out to measure up and quote, once we agreed the work he kept in touch making sure materials were delivered on time etc. on the day he arrived as agreed and worked hard all day, cleared up after himself with no rubbish left behind. To say I’m happy with the end result is an understatement I’m delighted, I would recommend him to anyone without hesitation and should we need similar work doing again I will be back in touch. A very well done job from start to finish. Listened to what I wanted to achieve with my roof and offered up options to give me the best fix. Stayed late a few nights to get a job finished within a day less than they originally estimated so less interruption. He had a very friendly but professional approach and it became clear while chatting to him that he had many years expertise and knowledge under his belt. My property had flooded due to a failed component in a Victoria style shower - extremely expensive to replace but John made light work of locating the issue and repairing the failed part. I selected Secure-A-Window due to the volume of positive feedback previously received. Austyn responded promptly to my invite, went around, measured up and sent across a competitive quote that day. A nice guy with plenty of feedback with a good guarantee, so I booked him in. Unfortunately, the supplier provided a wrong sized window, and after my tenant complained to me that there was boarding and no window, I followed up with Austyn straight away, who was promptly rectifying the issue with the supplier to make a new window, and booked to re-fit the next day. A swift response to a potentially poor customer experience. The window was installed the next day to the tenants satisfaction. Great work in rectifying the issue promptly. Austyn apologised for the delay but this was a quality response in resolving, therefore I'd not hesitate to use Austyn to Secure-A-Window again! Ignores problems and never answers the phone. Estimate was originally 5-7 days, we're in week and have discovered issues with every second fix. We had two other builders check the work which is sub standard. Wet room/shower not tanked as per building regs. Underfloor heating not connected. Taps, shower, concealed cistern and wastes all set incorrectly. Now everything has to be ripper out to get to pipework and wastes. Chris doesn't answer is phone, has not been here since start of project and I've issue legal procedures against him and his company to get my money back and the cost of the materials. I now have to find more money to pay someone else.
