Grant came and looked at the roof told me the problem and fixed it straight away after going to get replacement tiles. The old ones behind the chimney were cracked he took photos and showed me. I thought it was expensive but he solved my problem quickly and was pleasant.

Outrageous and unethical behaviour. Had hired Alex to do some work on my bay window. The day he was meant to come, he never arrived and hours later I got a text to say he had a family emergency and was sorry he hadn't been in touch. I was very understanding and said I hoped everything was okay, and we can reschedule. We arranged for a week later. I texted him the Saturday before to make sure we were still on - to which Alex replied ".. Deffo! still def on for Monday." Monday came and when he was supposed to arrive I got a text to say he wouldn't be coming because the materials hadn't arrived (this is 15 minutes before HE was supposed to arrive). I asked him straight out if he actually wanted the job - and that it was totally fine if he was too busy or changed his mind, but that I've got an awful lot on my plate and just need to get someone in. He replied that he "100% still wanted to do it!".. so we rearranged again. I texted him the eve before to make sure we were still on. He replied "Yeah 100% still on, materials all loaded up. See you tomorrow!". No show again. This time no message. Phone off. Totally ghosted. I've been so reasonable the whole way through, and I've been put in an awful position now. Such a horrible way to treat people. There so many roofers on MyBuilder. Don't make the mistake of going with someone with only 2 reviews who might treat you the same. It's not okay. Toby did a fantastic job, correcting all the works identified on my independent damp report. - fitting airbricks and replacing lead flashing to glass conservatory roof. He has also replaced all my soffits, fascias, barge boards, and gutters and repaired the verges. He was excellent at explaining what needed doing and there were no nasty surprises. His work ethic and quality of workmanship is amazing. I really appreciated him coordinating with the painter and scaffolding guys to get some exterior painting done at the same time. If you need an honest reliable tradesman who communicates well and charges a fair price for excellent work, Toby is your man!

Dan simply was great - we'd got 12 solid core interior doors and their fixings - the whole house, replacing the original hollow core doors. Each door needed the works - hinge rebates cutting, door adjusting, lock etc. The result is excellent and Dan did the job calmly and efficiently - and kept the place tidy and clean despite having to cut every door in the house. A job well done and on schedule.
