I've worked in the construction industry since 1996. I currently work as a sole trader. My professional trades are carpentry and tiling. Both carpentry and tiling interlink and compliment each other in many areas of construction. For example: 1). Strengthening and/or adding ply to timber floors before tiling. 2). Moving doors/doorways around in kitchens, bathrooms, and en-suites. 3). kitchen fitting and alterations, including worktop changes (tile floor first, fit kitchen second, tile splash back last). 4). Moving, strengthening and constructing new walls for kitchens, bathrooms, and tile weight. 5). Tiling floors before adding or replacing contempary or traditional bathroom/hallway wall panelling/dado rails and skirtings. 6). Building a traditional bathroom or en-suite that includes both timber wall panels and tiles around bath, sink and shower. 7). Boxings, shelving and recesses in bathrooms and en-suites. Over the last 30 years, ive accumulated a unique set of skills and knowledge in construction on thousands of domestic and commercial projects, including building my own properties in my spare time.
