Nick fitted a breakfast bar in our kitchen as well as completing various other joinery jobs around the house. The work was done to an excellent standard and we are really pleased. I hired tradesman RJ Joinery (Richard Johnson from Hull) to install a sink and two worktops.This experience has been an utter nightmare. Firstly, he broke my new sink. I had to rush to B&Q for a replacement. He then put the sink in off centre. He then said I needed to go and buy new taps as he said that mine were broken, even though they were only 11 months old. He then fitted these new taps wrongly, he put the hot and cold water supplies reversed.The flow of water was reduced to a trickle. I had to get another plumber in to put the taps right. He also scratched my new worktops. The worst part, once I told him that I was unhappy, were the nasty threats from him leaving me feeling very vulnerable. He said that he was going to come back and take out the worktops if I didn't pay him straight away (I had paid him cash for the worktops). He said he would make sure that I was more out of pocket. Andrew and his team completed a new kitchen installation for myself over a period of 2-3 weeks although through design and product issues this was no way a fault in their professionalism. I kept Andrew up to date when parts available and they were round more or less the next day. I'd say overall the team were exceptional and got on really well with them all. If anyone is in need of a joiner, I am happy to pop round and have a look at any work required.
Firstly after been let down on 2 seperate dates the job commenced. Not a great experience as only half done. 1 bedroom door doesnt stay closed and another door doesnt close at all! Had to rush off to another job so drilled holes in the doors for handles but not for the bathroom door locks. Did take less of a payment but even still should have been done properly.
