I own several properties. Unfortunately Jason started the job on a flat I own at the start of Oct 2024 but never finished even though he was paid deposit, and extra for a shower fitting. I had to give the job to another builder in the end as the work was due to be done in 2 weeks and the work was just not even close to finishing. He kept demanding funds and instead if a refurbishment he just cleared the place out started painting over dis-repaired walls and did little else in a month. Nice enough guy but I cannot recommend him. I am now taking him to court as he went off with £800 and did very little for it.Latest review:Restoration & Refurbishment-

The workmanship was better than anything I could have expected. Andy took care of pretty much everything, arranging quotes etc. He went above and beyond continuously to make sure everything was perfect. There is no doubt on my next project i will be using Andy. If you need a refurb doing correctly this is your man. Just to add some numbers in for you. Bought at 52k Expecting 90k once done Expected rent 550 Valued at 110k to 120k Rental figure of 675 The increase is because of Andys workmanship but also his knowledge of what will increase value. From a fitted kitchen to a full refurbishment, plastering, joinery, new build or anything inbetween. We are new to MyBuilder, this is not our main source of work so feedback may be low for now but our well established reputation and photos speak volumes, contact for more.
After a short meeting & provision of a competitive quotation. Nick & his colleague Dan started work on our Garage Conversion, turning it into a kitchen & converting the original kitchen into a utility room that we are very happy with (4 Week Turnaround). Communication with both was thorough throughout & the finish is excellent (Housekeeping & Storage of Material & Equipment was was 2nd to none). I would strongly recommend the company moving forward & won’t hesitate to use again. I will attach Photographic Evidence, decorating & flooring to be completed in my own time.

As of August 2023 we undertook our largest demolition project to date ( 5 acres ) to a former menswear factory in Goole,East Yorkshire.
I unwisely decided to let Robert and his teal loose on my house with disastrous results, where to begin I’d asked for my home to be replastered and decorated, the job was also to include the fitting of a new external doorway. First the door was installed so that it swung in rather than out despite specifically asking that it swung outwards. The walls had been painted over partially removed wallpaper and non of the paint work had been sanded down. These are just a couple of instances of how utterly incompetent river and his team are. Please give them a wide berth. We needed someone to carry out and manage all the aspects of a house renovation, including new roof, insertion of lintels, some new windows, new bathroom and kitchen, partial rewire, new central heating, refurbishment of brickwork, new flooring, replacement of doors, and so forth. This was to bring a late Victorian semi-detached to modern standards. We live quite a distance away, so could make only short irregular trips to inspect progress. We obtained two quotes, both in the same ball park (we were highly impressed with both builders) and opted for Andrew - partly because of the instant attention to detail. We have been very happy with the way the renovation has been managed and with the quality of work, and it has been easy interacting with Andrew in negotiating changes to plan, handling unforeseen problems, and so forth.
