Our work would be home extensions, conversions, adaptions and loft conversions until i became self employed In July 2000. I then went to work on Various contracts around Scotland, undertaking anything from; Shuttering, erecting Timber Kits, 1st & 2nd fix Joinery, Roofing (including, Soffits & Fascia), kitchens and finishing works. Extensions, conversions and adapting of private homes was my next move and I stayed here for years as I absolutely loved the work but a move to a higher job position forced my next move. I was employed with Local Council work refurbishments and I was promoted to Contracts Manger where I took dilapidated building and arranged for them to be brought back up to a suitable standard to be put back into use for Social Housing. Since my move to Edinburgh my first aim is to concentrate on kitchen, bedroom and bespoke installations, (I'm an ex, Magnet, Howdens, Symphony, Sharps, Hammonds fitter), but to also continue with the multi trade aspect, that I'm so used to. Including, Decorating, Ames taping, repair work, guttering and downpipes, double glazing etc. I've a good team of trades that I work with currently, and we're aiming to bring together our collective experience to provide the people of Edinburgh a new Building Company for their building needs, whatever that may be. Everything was completed to a high standard and despite the job taking longer than expected due to my door frame measurements, there was no complaints and the job was completed in a professional manner. I even got my front door fixed which was pretty major. Already have more work lined up for SPPS Property Services.
