My aim is to achieve a high level of customer satisfaction by completing excellent quality work, providing a clear and transparent pricing structure and being respectful of my customers and their homes. I have worked for various companies in different aspects of construction. In the last five years I have been working for myself specialising in handyman projects.
Removal of internal window and staircase wall and leave ready for decorating. Job was completed by Aaron and his Grandfather over 3 days but to a very poor finish. We have tried contacting Aaron several times by phone and email but so far have not had any response. When the job was finished, we had just arrived home from work and it was nearly dark outside but with the light on, the plastering looked ok. However, when a couple of decorators came round, they pointed out that the angle bead had been fitted incorrectly resulting in it being proud. The general finish of plastering all over is poor. The hole is not square, on a spirit level all angles are different. At bottom of stair ledge, decorators caulk has been used where it should be wood. It is now obvious that neither Aaron or his Grandfather had the necessary training, experience and skills to carry out the work they had taken on.
