Reasons given were that the tiles were small - he'd been sent a link to the tiles to be used before he priced it and "hadn't looked at it properly" - and that the walls weren't dead flat. Failed to correctly measure the height of the windowsill on the second wall before he started tiling. This windowsill and the reveals were originally meant to be tiled but due to his mis-measurement / lack of measurement this wouldn't have been possible without it looking bad. He announced it couldn't be done any more and would have to be painted instead. This same mis-measurement has led to a poor finish near the sloping ceiling - if he'd started ½ a tile out vertically both would have been better. Although I still had to ask him to take 3 off and re-cut them, and 2 more aren't great... The tiles trims have not been cut accurately into the corners, they're about 5mm short leaving gaps. Won't use him again.
