This was a whole house refurbishment involving a garage conversion to an office and a utility room and a doorway through to the main room. The whole of the downstairs was opened up removing walls and replacing with steel girders. This required further footings to be installed and vertical and cross beams to support the structure. Also removed a door and windows to install bi-folding doors. All then plastered and made good. Cavell employs a team of very friendly, happy and accommodating tradesmen and his overall aim is to make sure the customer is happy with the end result. He was also very accommodating and helpful when problems arose. I have since employed Cavell to do a whole refurbishment of a rental flat and several other minor works and repairs. We are now embarking on another whole house refurbishment which will involve a two storey extension and walls to be removed and steels installed. I would have no hesitation in recommending Orange Tree Construction.

Chris and his team have transformed our dingy bathroom into a lovely bright and clean space, replacing our boiler at the same time. He advised on what was possible to maximise space in our small bathroom and managed the whole process taking the hassle out of it for us. No issue was too big or small and Chris went beyond the call of duty to ensure we were happy. Letting strangers into your house can be worrying but I can’t speak highly enough of how respectful Chris an his team were. Jason was very easy to communicate with before the job and turned up exactly when he said he would. The work was completed to a high standard, and on time, which was amazing given it can't be an easy job building a flat roof on the hottest days of the year. There were a couple of problems with the work, but they were resolved quickly and without complaint. I'd recommend Jason to others and would use him again on future projects.
