We are in the last week or so of the extensive remodelling of the kitchen, utility room beyond plus bedroom upstairs. Mark Lomas and his team have been truly amazing, not just in exercising real building skills to blend the extension harmoniously with the existing Edwardian home but also in some imaginative problem solving as well. Costs have been spot on budget, save where I have caused additional work and fitting out, other than some unusual costs arising from some specialist joinery work which enabled the timber windows and doors to be exact replicas for others built 120 years ago. Honestly, I could not speak higher of the care and attention we have been given. I could get cross about the driving rain and the gruesome frosts and miserable cold, but that's a British Winter for you; Mark and his team certainly did not grizzle, and have stayed professional throughout. Circa £100k budget, so a reasonably size job and quite a risk for the builder - for my next project, I shall certainly use again in a heartbeat.

I have nothing but praise for Michael and his team. The project was managed exceptionally well and Michael kept us apprised of progress, emerging issues (which were dealt with quickly and with some innovative thinking) and he was honest and candid with our choice of kitchen tile (I think his words were do you want to rethink that colour!). Michael quoted in Nov and started work in the Spring (late Mar) and held his price despite a national increase in the price of materials and reduced availability which he managed admirably. Obviously a man with a good eye; his suggestions for additional works were inspired and they have resulted in a high quality finish. Finally, it is worth mentioning the team who did the grafting! Very industrious, skilled, polite and helpful. Highly recommend Wooburn PM to anyone considering building work. :-)

Great guys. Tidy, polite and flexible with our timing and schedule. Lovely bathroom when they were done. A bit more attention to detail on some of the tiling would’ve been great, but they were slightly awkward mosaic tiles that I had chosen. And when I mentioned it they were more than happy to replace the tiles I wasn’t happy with. Artan’s electrical work (full house rewire) was considerate of our needs and requests. He worked quickly to get it done for our move in date and we were very pleased! Lovely guy and he had a very good team working for him!

Job was the removal of old, and installation of a new back garden gate and fence. Our house is end of terrace with a public path leading behind and down the side of the house, so security is a concern. Great initial discussion, with Niall helping us narrow down the best options and making sure we were happy. Wouldnt recommend. Uploaded pics tell the story how well the job was finished. Chips on the floor and random cuts in new skirtingboards. Cut the wrong end of the basin vanity. Also paid to have things removed which some were taken and some left. Charged me for silicone/adhesives but used my supplies instead. Left the place very messy, including silicone plastered all over new radiator which I spent ages cleaning. Within a week of completion massive toilet leak AGAIN which I paid a plumber to fix who said you obviously got a cowboy to do this job! Fabio's comments which really annoyed me, apparently I don't like men? Telling someone to do their job right is a problem! 2 day job finished in 3 due to late starts and early finishes!

Richard and Andrew were excellent from beginning to end. The estimates were accurate and they came in on budget and finished on time. The work was done to an excellent standard with great attention to detail and no cutting of corners. They were considerate and helpful and tidied up at the end of each day. They were also friendly and we had many comments from our neighbours about how friendly and pleasant they were. They were also very helpful with last-minute changes that we needed and made suggestions for how things could be done better and more cost effectively. They even looked after our dog during the day, letting her out when we were not home. I would recommend R. Naylor Construction if you need a good job done to a high standard by someone who is friendly, knowledgeable and considerate.
