Our retaining wall in our garden was in need of urgent replacement. Not knowing any local builders we took a chance on Connor who we found via mybuilder.com. He offered a competitive quote and was soon in our garden getting on with the job. He was, from the start to finish, polite and professional and this includes any of his team who helped we don't normally leave reviews but when you are this happy with the work done to this standard we were more than happy to leave a well deserved positive review. Lovely workmen who tidied up after themselves. The driveway looks great. The only problem was the boards holding the rubble was left behind, as a result the grass was a mess. We had to sort it out but otherwise would recommend

Very impressed with the quality of the workmanship and professionalism throughout the build. They always kept things as tidy as possible and completed the job in a timely manner. They turned what had been a dream for a long time into a reality, and we couldn't be happier with the final results. There were aspects of the extension design that we weren't sure about, and the team came up with ideas and advice, which really helped with making the project the best it could be! I can't rate David (Charmills Ltd) highly enough. Thoroughly professional from initial visit and quotation, right through to the completion of the job. Good communication and advice made him the right choice. Excellent knowledge and great workmanship made the whole installation go as planned. Great timekeeping and a brilliant price just topped it all off. If you need an electrician, look no further than David. I couldn't be more happy with the porch that Dave & James built for me. I have a character property and had a very specific idea of what I wanted and they got it spot on. They were extremely sympathetic to the original cottage and my new addition looks like it has been there forever. I decided to go with an Oak front door which James fitted and it's perfect. I was very pleased to see both Dave and James turn up each morning before I headed off for work so that we could have a catch up. I really, really appreciated this gesture. The work was completed on time as promised. I will most definitely be using David James Construction in the future with the landscaping of my front garden being the next project.
