He removed the old one, then laid the new one ensuring an even fall over the whole area on various directions to ensure runoff to the drainage areas. We have had several heavy rains since with no puddling. Shane built a concrete slab for our hot tub again perfectly level no puddling from the rain. Also inserted a drain for hot tub emptying. The patio has two separate areas, which he bordered with black blocks, which has helped to set it off nicely.
