Please keep away from this rouge trader. I thought I was hiring this company but a man called Paul Mckinnel turned up and said his company is called 17 properties. I thought it was strange when his name appeared on both Wyndhams and 17. Properties. However he was very plausible and gave us the cheapest quote so we hired him. He never turned up when he should have and only turned up the next day after 11 and went at 2 30pm . Every day was the same. Every time I went to see him at the house he was never there. I would ring him and he said he had gone for bits for the job. A 2week job took 5 weeks 3days. He has done electrical work putting in sockets etc for me and isn’t an electrician . When I had to send for one he condemned the work and switched all power off to the house and said it was extremely dangerous. He fitted a new kitchen and one off the cupboards had been fitted with just one screw and when we tried to put things in it it fell off the wall. It was all out of alignment the entire kitchen and everything was wet under the sink . The job was condemned by a kitchen company and I have had to buy several new units to replace them as they are so badly damaged from his fitting. There are 84 defects to the job too numerous to tell on here but if you wish I can send photos and written evidence from proper tradesmen. Please don’t recommend this rogue trader he is bad news and has taken £12k off me for the jobs. Please contact me I’m happy to show you evidence. Thank you.Latest review:Damp Proofing-
