Get in touchHired him 3 days ago. Thursday, starting the week Monday. He asked us to dig out kitchen floor. Which we have done. He will install kitchen units to wall, (units already assembled) mainly install sink/taps, hob and doors. Level up part of the floor with board. Install work top. Estimated 3 days at an agreed rate. Work completed! Very happy indeed. At this rate... I kept him on. For another weeks. At £180 a day. Lots of jobs not started or done.! Chose to do floor tiling when. Decorators were in. 1 skirting board took 1 day to cut and put 1 piece of board up. He also cut up a rare skirting board from 1890..., claiming he could not find the new piece one I left in rooms. He also held back £330 cash I paid him for a bed and cabinet ends. Demanded I give him 5stars. Basically stealing..I trusted him - again been let down. I paid him in full and weekly.and on time. But, they still rob and steal from you. Seems to be the order of the day in this site. 😔 Not again.
