Special mention to Matt who made short work of the demolition and did a wonderful job with the flooring. Brad is professional, approachable and highly knowledgeable - even coming out on his day off to offer advice and reassurance on an unpleasantly surprising building control decision. Highly recommend Henstowe for any building work.

Moreover, he has rigorously stuck to both. Most importantly ( for me anyway) the standard of Peter's work is exceptionally high, he attends to every little detail- clearly he is a perfectionist!. He is also a very creative thinker who will always come up with a solution to any of the those little issues that arise during building work. He is clearly very highly qualified and competent. He is also very thoughtful and considerate of the family and does his utmost to avoid disruption and mess as best he can. I had a kitchen extension built - whilst still having to use the original kitchen - and with the use of temporary walls and screens, Peter ensured I was still able to use it. I would highly recommend Peter for any building project you might be considering. Another point of interest , all of the other trades that came in ( electricians, plumbers etc) all said that they really liked working with Peter because they know that when he makes arrangements, they can take those timings to the bank ! Get in touchDid some good work but let us down when not accepting responsibility for his failure to commission a bore hole filtration installation that did not give us clear water for 6 months. We only found out when I employed and paid Anglian water to come out to check the system and they reported that it had never worked since installation as he did not open the air valve and so there was no chance that the iron could be put into suspension so the next cylinder could filter it properly. They opened the valve and the water is 70 cleaner - I suggest to Ben he paid £115 for the Anglian visit and install one 5 micron filter at his cost so we get the clear water he promised before being awarded the contract. I have not heard from him after this reasonable compensation request for 6 months yellow water that children will not bath in, guests are concerned with and will not drink. We were very impressed by this firm. The whole team were polite and friendly and always punctual. They showed an obvious desire to do a good job and impressive attention to detail. Ross Simarro was friendly, approachable and efficient. He dealt with any queries promptly and his wish to please us was obvious. The whole process ran smoothly and to plan and we felt happy and relaxed throughout. Although I am a fully qualified Joiner, I cover all aspects of building; brick & timber frame, granny annex, kitchen & bathroom installations, plumbing & tiling. Any gas or electrical work is carried by fully qualified tradesman whom I have worked with for a number of years. The best recommendation is to talk to my customers and hear what they say about me!
