He sub-contracted electrical and joinery which worked fine. He was friendly and professional throughout. Among the numerous issues I faced, the following were specifically problematic. 1. Project Management - The project was poorly managed, with unclear communication regarding quotes, significant delays, and a lack of respect for the property. 2. Failure to meet Building Control Standards - The Building Control requirement for a minimum wall insulation thickness of 10cm was initially ignored, resulting in costly rework to address the issue. 3. Unethical practice - Jon Myers engaged in unauthorized cancellation of Building Control visits, delaying signing the LABC completion form, fabricated email correspondence, etc. 4. Harassment with baseless claims of outstanding payment. I have reported this contractor to the Trading Standard Service as this level of negligence and disregard for professional responsibilities is completely unacceptable.Latest review:Conversions - General-

I recently had some building work completed by Hemen, and I couldn’t be more pleased. He was punctual, hugely knowledgeable, and his standard of work was excellent. He was realistic with timelines for when the work would be finished and communicated these clearly throughout the process. Hemen did a wonderful job moving our door, opening up/ converting the space under the stairs into storage, and putting up a large LED bathroom cabinet for us. The quality of his work and attention to detail were outstanding. Andy and James did a good job were here on time curtious at all times. They did the openings for my extention inserting the lintels and knock throughs. Can’t rate Steve highly enough, 100% would recommend to friends and family. Great work, spot on timing, given the job was always going to be dusty any mess was kept to an absolute minimum throughout. St builders removed 2 load bearing walls for us. Steves quotes were reasonable, gave us plenty of advice (that is much needed) helped us organise with others and had a refreshing honest approach to there work. Fabulous job done at my home! Got my conservatory renovated , converted a toilet into study room and took a wall down to create more space in kitchen. Karl knows whats best for the renovation hence gives appropriate advice, is very professional and does the work on time as quoted. I am grateful and will definitely consider for any further renovation.
