Ash (owner of AJV Home Improvements) is a top quality bathroom installation professional who I feel very lucky to have found through MyBuilder.com I have waited three months before posting this review because I prefer to live with whatever work has been done in order to truly evaluate it. I required two existing showers to be ripped out and replaced with my own sourced new shower wall boards and enclosures. Ash did the job in six days over a two week period and did it extremely well. In fact he even used his expertise to improve on how the shower wall boards were fitted resulting in an unbeatable professional ‘showroom’ finish. I was very happy with the completed double installation when Ash left and, three months later, I am still very happy. Charlie and his team did a great job knocking down an external load bearing wall, taking out the window, radiator, re-wiring the plugs that were running through the wall, installing an electric garage door, and building a ramp up to the garage. With over 45 years experience we provide all building works from extensions, new builds and conversions to plastering and window replacement. We provide free quotations and although new to Mybuilder we can provide references as required.
Richard and his team did quite a bit of renovation work on our house. We are really pleased with the results. Richard and his team (Wayne and Daniel in particular) were extremely hard working, and got the work completed as quickly as they were able to. Richard had a few issues getting materials (mainly due to the pandemic situation) while completing the work, but kept us fully up to date as to when he would be able to work, and when he couldn't and the reasons why. Richard and his team were very respectful of our house, and family at all times while working. They tidied up every day after working, which really helped as we were living in the house while the work was being completed. The finished result is something I'm very happy with. I have completed jobs in most trades, and I worked as a property developer and a building inspector. I am also an award winning inventor with several aviation and renewable products in production.
Rupert is an extremely polite, reliable and punctual professional. He is very experienced and his output is of very high quality. He sticked all the time to his schedule and to his quote. Even though we had a few technical issues along the way, which meant Rupert had to put extra time and resources in the project, he kept his word and his original quote. We hired him for some carpentry work but we have already asked him to do another job for us! Highly recommended.Latest review:Joinery & Cabinet Making-
