Really good experience. Eric did a great job at a great price. He even took on an additional painting job that wasn't part of the original job. He completed the job quickly, communicated well and always came when he said he would. He worked really hard. We do jobs the size of extensions and small jobs just like fixing a water leak no job is too big or too small for us.
Dan and his team maintain an excellent professional standard of what they do. We were nervous at the start, as this was our first renovation task, and there were some delays in getting a response before the agreement, but they made the work very smooth all the way through. They respected our choice of materials and our needs, even if it required a bit of redoing of what they had already done. Ash (owner of AJV Home Improvements) is a top quality bathroom installation professional who I feel very lucky to have found through MyBuilder.com I have waited three months before posting this review because I prefer to live with whatever work has been done in order to truly evaluate it. I required two existing showers to be ripped out and replaced with my own sourced new shower wall boards and enclosures. Ash did the job in six days over a two week period and did it extremely well. In fact he even used his expertise to improve on how the shower wall boards were fitted resulting in an unbeatable professional ‘showroom’ finish. I was very happy with the completed double installation when Ash left and, three months later, I am still very happy. I offer a 24 hour call out service on electrical emergencies. It is my policy to complete a project before starting a new one to give 100% commitment. Due to the increase of kitchen and bathroom installations I now have a full time tiller and plasterer as part of my team
Craig is a unreliable guy told us he will do the work in 2 weeks. This was two weeks before December. He kept telling us he was going to come in and doesn't show up for a week. He keeps on delaying the completion date. My parents took time off to let him in but he always has excuses (I has other job to finish, i was drunk etc). Then I told him to give me a date and time he will come in so we can let him he gave me a date guess what doesn't turn up i was stuck in a basement somewhere. On jan 18 we told him you can come and finish whenever he comes in at 11-12. and leaves at 2pm. It's now March and it's still not complete and is now blaming me that I didn't give him access he had 3 months to complete the job. He never cleans up after himself so every time they finish i have to clean my house. Since Christmas my house have been a mess and now after I have paid him 70% he is telling me that I owe him money and he haven't even finished the job the wall bracket is not even fixed.
