Mike did an incredible job - I had my chimney recess widened, patterned tiles laid for the hearth and log burner reinstalled. It looks absolutely perfect, and has made such a difference to my living room. Mike was very knowledgeable, professional and friendly; completing the work efficiently and for a really reasonable price. I would highly recommend OCS to others. Both great builders...not so good on table tennis though...well always room for improvement. We build internal chimney breasts and external twin wall flues. All work is to building regs, comes with a guarantee and a warranty. Andy gave a great impression when he came to quote, clearly knowing a lot about his profession and suggesting good ideas that we hadn't thought of, for how to resolve various issues. He stripped out an old back-boiler, fitted a new boiler, complete set of new radiators and completely new plumbing, all for a very reasonable price. Quote just to install was over £250 more then another company and company who they recommended to have the fire place purchased from had zero interest and wasn’t customer caring in my personal opinion. Was actually over charging me as well which wasn’t right considering the journey I had made to them. I came across Scott after being quoted by a couple of other defra fitters from another source who both ended up letting me down. Scotts communication was A star. He always communicated well. His quote was pretty good. I have had the stove fitted but it is too warm to enjoy it yet. It is fitted in very neatly and looks quite stylish.
