Glen from Heatspec arrived on time. He was familiar with the Viessmann 242-F boiler which incoporates a solar heating circuit. He removed, inspected and cleaned the burner unit, the condensate siphon trap and recorded the flue gas analysis data. He had the instrument to test the pH of the solar glycol but was not necessary as the solar circuit had only been installed 6 months. He had an excellent up to date knowledge of Viessmann products and was very patient in answering my many questions. The charge of £60 + VAT was comparable with other quotes and I was happy with his work. I hope he will be able to do the next service.

Some parts were missing which he took the time to collect to ensure the job was carried out to full satisfaction. Brilliant chap, came in did a clean job explained a few bits of the system I was unaware of. Would recommend to anyone needing a a central heating expert who won't overcharge. We found him 50% cheaper than other quotes and he actually showed how easy the job was and the correct way to install without doing the usual "it's too complicated to explain"
