We had a number of jobs done, oak flooring,oak skirting and new doors. The quality of work was excellent, the lads were very helpful and most importantly worked hard when they were here. They also turned up on time on the days they said they were coming . On one occasion they phoned us 48 hours ahead to say they would be a day late due to an unforeseen overrun, they asked if that was ok.

Alex was an absolute pleasure to work with. He was punctual, professional, and very much an old-school gentleman who clearly takes pride in his craft. His attention to detail was excellent, communication was clear and articulate throughout, and the price was fair and transparent. He cleaned up thoroughly after himself and completed the job to a very high standard. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Alex to anyone looking for quality carpentry work.

Martin was exceptional in every aspect of his work and we would recommend him wholeheartedly for any job. The bathroom installation in our old cottage was no easy task but Martin managed a fantastic job at short notice and he completed the work very swiftly. We were happy before it rained and we thoroughly checked their work. They left mess, razor sharp edges on the glass, and glass overhanging neighbours land a little bit. We asked them to return to remedy this which they said they would do this coming Tuesday. Since then we have also noticed that they have cut our glass too short, cut the new hardwood at too steep an angle which was bodged in with wood filler, and now it's rained this new roof has massively leaked. In places where the glass is cut too short and even along the length of one of the new wooden beams; must be missing a bit of silicone. It is now Saturday and we have called them 2 days ago on Thursday, yesterday Friday we called and texted, and today again we both texted and one of us called them, to check if they are still coming on Tuesday or not. 3 days is not unreasonable to return a call or text just to confirm either way. More rain is due between now and then, concerned about lack of communication and quality of work.

James was great. He clearly cares about his work and his clients. We needed a small job completed at very short notice, and he was extremely helpful in getting everything sorted. There were a few complications along the way, but rather than taking the easy route, he took the time to make sure the job was done properly. He turned up on time, was friendly throughout, provided valuable advice and completed the work to a high standard. We’ll definitely be using James again and would happily recommend him.
