I have some recent real client experience, building a bespoke wardrobe, building a woodshed and replacing a gate, and laying a hardwood floor. Additionally I have done all the carpentry work in my new home, including shelves, Hit and Miss fencing, and some kitchen units. I charge a reasonable rate reflecting my experience. Rupert

Get in touchWe’ve just had our staircase completely transformed by stripping the posts and banisters, stripped back to natural wood, and the original wooden spindles replaced with hand made wrought iron spindles. It looks fantastic mainly due to the way the spindles have been positioned by Jake Mackay of JM Carpentry and Joinery. Jake was very helpful with advice, really good at keeping in touch and, when the spindles were eventually ready, he did a fantastic job of fitting them. We were so impressed with his skill, attention to detail, attitude and enthusiasm we are having some other work, involving replacement door hanging and construction of bespoke furniture.
