He arrived about 15mins early and got straight on with the job. He had all the materials he needed and by lunchtime he’d finished and even hoovered up. He took the trouble to communicate an estimated cost prior to the job and let us know exactly what he would do. He even sanded the door back and stained it so that the new wood would match. We’re extremely pleased with his work ethic and his job. We would recommend him anytime in fact we’ve asked for another estimate for a second job. I gained a degree in Engineering in 1997 and subsequently decided to concentrate on my passion for doing up houses rather than pursuing an Engineering career. Being technically minded, I don't cut corners as I like to get things just right. All types of work considered, although I won't attempt to carry out anything I'm not confident at. From a small repair to a new bathroom or kitchen, decking or a shed, ask me for a free quote. Odd jobs and tricky problems are very welcome!
We employed Russell to create cupboards in the eaves at either side of our loft room. This involved building wooden frameworks, door frames, fitting cupboard doors and plasterboarding. I found Russell to be a meticulous worker, who will gather a very detailed idea of what you require before he starts work. He is a skilled carpenter, and I am very pleased with the results. His timekeeping is excellent, working full days and always tidying up after each day. Russell is also a thoroughly nice chap, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him.Latest review:Carpentry-
