I make and fit custom joinery (windows and doors) fit skirting etc. I like to do the job I am doing well.

Paul Gary & Brian dida great job despite the usual delivery problems when using Howdens. They surmounted the challenge of fitting the doors and new architraves into the existing 60’s frames and the skirtings onto wobbly plastered walls. Punctual and cleaned up plus friendly and approachable. We have one last bedroom to finish and have discussed it briefly with Paul so will definitely call the boys for some more doors and bespoke joinery.

Marty was very prompt in corresponding and providing a quote. The work he did was great - finishing off my kitchen installation and paid attention to detail. The job took longer then expected but he honoured his fixed price quote as agreed. He quoted another job - putting up some shelving - and he completed it the following week and we were very happy. I have asked Marty to provide a quote for a third job - attic insulating, boarding and loft hatch. I can't recommend him enough. A lovely, personable, hard working guy who is now my go to builder to save me a lots of DIY stress and for all my building needs.

Craig, Bob and Timmy of HD Design and Build have been an absolute credit to the building trade throughout our project. With a young family still living in the house, their professionalism, punctuality, cleanliness, advice and attention to detail meant they kept disruption and intrusion into the rest of the home to a minimum and we were able to continue life without too much disruption. I have a multitude of photos of the build throughout which show the excellent standard that they worked to every day which can be supplied on request. Craig offered objective advice based on experience throughout and although he clearly always strives for perfection, was never pushy for us to make a decision to use a high end product over something that was more affordable or suitable. Our newly laid herringbone parquet oak floor is the talk of the street and is a testament to their skill and attention to detail. The finished rooms we have now far exceed our expectations of design and quality and that is largely down to Craig's advice and the experience and skill of him and his team. Craig was also instrumental in keeping me calm in many situations when dealing with suppliers and offered sound advice without judgement. I would recommend HD Design & Build to everyone with the belief that they will make your designs come to life and then some!
