New build houses, extensions and major renovations from fitted kitchens and bedrooms, roofs to floors and also external works like decking and fences. I’ve also done work on 5 star hotels like Trump Turnberry and the Seamill Hydro hotel.
Get in touchWe had a problem with our bathroom, whereby a shower had been leaking into the floor and sub floor for some years. The first company called saw an insurance job for pensioners and stated it was a major refurb with complete new floor, re- tiling and a bill in the £4000- 5000 range. Enter Steve who was confident it was a more localised problem requiring reinstatement of the floor and joists under the shower and replaced shower and screen plus a small tiling repair, he quoted around a third of the previous estimate and said possibly a day and a half labour. Once agreed he arrived promptly keeping in contact beforehand to keep us updated and did all as required to a good standard with a two man team, taking around five hours longer than forecast . He didn't charge more than the quote, did a good job and has agreed to more work around our house. What impressed me most was the care they took of our home throughout the job and the removal of the debris as standard. The unique thing about Pete is his design background. This is invaluable when there is a job which needs some working out and a creative solution to optimising space or making things work better. We were very pleased with our 're-worked' kitchen as it allowed us to optimise space, fitting a bigger dining table in, and to be sustainable by retaining and moving existing cupboards (replacing doors to update and brighten the room). Pete was also good at suggesting particular fittings and the lighting he installed has contributed to the transformation of our kitchen. Pete has a high degree of professionalism providing clear estimates and evaluating different cost options with us.
