We had bought a 200 year old sandstone farmhouse that was concrete rendered and riddled with damp. Our project was more complicated than we first anticipated, we needed further structural work before rendering. John loyally ensured that the job was done properly and thoroughly by providing us expert advice, planning the restoration and providing us reassurance. Even when the weather was against him, and at Leadburn it was often a wash out, he turned up every day and did as much as he could, making sure that the project kept moving despite the elements. The extreme weather impacted the length of time that it took to complete, however we remained confident that the work has been done to perfection and it has been well worth the extra time. We have a wall that will now brave the elements each winter and be standing for many more years to come! Thank you John for your honest work and dedication- it's the most beautiful wall now thanks to you! We can highly recommend John and will definitely be calling on him in the future for more work.
