What a horrible discovery when a long section of my stone wall suddenly smashed down into my garden, only just missing my neighbours church. I had no idea what to do. It was a dark Saturday evening, rain and wind swirling. So I thought I’d just try sending an email to builder Mark Hamlin as his work looked good, and was amazed that he got straight back to say he’d be over on Sunday. From then on all went well. What a wonderful relief! Mark checked and rechecked carefully to ensure that everything would be done to the highest standards. He (and Harry, who helped him mix and carry cement and stones for a couple of days), steadily worked to create a new wall. When finished, it looked truly beautiful, strong and safe. I am SO grateful to Mark. Definitely a mark of 100% !

Absolutely brilliant. Geoff is SUCH a hard and honest worker. The work is of the highest standard. He is very skilled in restoration works, and methods of conservation and preservation. He is super with communication too, explaining everything to us along the way and doesn’t get frustrated with all my questions! Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him to anyone.

We used Ben to remove paint from the front of a Bath stone cottage. It was not an easy job. We discovered the paint would not come off by conventional methods and had to be done slowly using a compressor and needle gun. So pleased were we with the results, we had him clean and repoint the whole wall and it now looks lovely. The quality of his work was first rate and when we discovered that the simple job was going to take longer than any of us could have envisaged, the solution Ben put forward in terms of additional time cost was very fair. I would highly recommend him.

Andy did a fabulous job building us a traditional stone wall surrounding our driveway. His advice and help was invaluable from start to finish, from sourcing the materials we needed, providing advice on what needed to be done before the wall could be built and of course him building the wall within the time frame and costs quoted. He came when he said he would come and kept us updated if weather made working outside impossible. We are extremely happy with the outcome and would recommend him to anyone needed a traditional stone wall to be built. On top of the above he is a great and knowledgeable guy who is enjoying his work and communicates very well.

We hired Trevor to remodel the inside of our house, putting in new walls, installing internal and external bifold doors, laying floor tiles, redoing electrical circuits amongst other works. The standard of work was generally of a high quality and standard. In addition to the good workmanship, it was a pleasure to have both Trevor and Cyril (Sid) around and we found them good natured and honest. We are intending to have them back to do further work as soon as the current pandemic has eased. We would thoroughly recommend TJ Services.

Professional, highly experienced and simply a great team. My extension was built on schedule and to cost. Exceptional standard which exceeded all expectation. I can only provide positive comments about Steve (owner) and his team. Steve discussed all elements of my build throughout. Communication was excellent. Steve is very knowledgeable and experienced. Deborah (Joint owner / Office Manager) has been fantastic with explaining all documents and providing detailed information. My build consisted of a full rear extension, complete with french doors, patio doors and velux windows. Full bespoke kitchen build. Plumbing. Complete patio installation and all associated ground works. Steve and his team conducted all elements of the build. Paul has worked with us on three occasions over the past 4 months. We were introduced to Paul when he helped to repair a roof on our grade 2 listed barn conversion. His workmanship and work ethos were superb and in conversation we also found out he was a master stone mason. As a result we invited Paul to bid for two further jobs. The first was the renovation of an old well In The grounds of our property and the second was to retile the floor of our barn. Paul’s work was first class in both jobs. He worked closely with us in the design of our Well, matching our ideas to ensure they were in sympathy with the age of the property, a 17th century grade 2 listed somerset long house. The result was outstanding with an intracrately carved limestone topping. We would have no hesitation in recommending Paul
