Professional, highly experienced and simply a great team. My extension was built on schedule and to cost. Exceptional standard which exceeded all expectation. I can only provide positive comments about Steve (owner) and his team. Steve discussed all elements of my build throughout. Communication was excellent. Steve is very knowledgeable and experienced. Deborah (Joint owner / Office Manager) has been fantastic with explaining all documents and providing detailed information. My build consisted of a full rear extension, complete with french doors, patio doors and velux windows. Full bespoke kitchen build. Plumbing. Complete patio installation and all associated ground works. Steve and his team conducted all elements of the build. My main reason for selecting The West Country Home Company Ltd. was the track record. Steve and his team have been successfully building extensions for many years and have great positive feedback. Carpentry and electrical works were performed to an incredibly high standard with absolute precision. I simply cannot recommend The West Country Home Company Ltd any higher. Get in touchDom and the crew delivered an excellent project. The initial quote was competitive and detailed. Once the work was accepted, a start date was agreed. Work stated on time, the two guys mainly on site were Wayne and Shaun who were there almost-everyday apart from the odd day when the weather was poor. But no swapping from one job to another. Wayne produced excellent quality workmanship, he also kept the site extremely tidy. Get in touchWe started with two possible projects. Loft conversion, which we did not proceed with, and knocking through a wall in the kitchen and removing a pillar, which we did. Martin was exceptionally helpful, particularly when it came to organising the correct steels, and offered real clarity on the costs. He also made several recommendations along the way that we found very helpful. Martin and his team were very friendly, efficient and delivered exceptional quality. It is clearly a very disruptive process to knock down walls but they did everything that they could to keep the disruption to a minimum, which was useful since we have two young children. We are very pleased with the end result. Martin guided us from planning right through to kitchen installation and everything in between.
