Took advantage of my lack of knowledge about ring door bells and charged me a hefty £150 for a battery ring door bell that just needed 4 screws on the door! I got the initial quote of £150, he probably thought it was for a wired bell, but when he realised it was a battery only bell, he should’ve had the decency to charge less for a job that takes 30 seconds… I challenged him the reason for that, he got aggressive and came up with cheap excuses.
