I contacted Pestridge Constructions Ltd (Mike) and a couple of others via this website. Even during the first meeting (for a quote) we could see the difference (as compared to other builders). The extent of our refurb took around 4 months during which we completely entrusted the responsibility to Mike. He took ownership to identify and fix issues and do the refurb. Mike has been fantastic in his quality of work. Great work ethic too (totally unlike any other builder experience we've had) and a gentleman. Since we live about 1.5 hours away from the property we entrusted many of the design (floor & wall tiles, lighting etc.) to Mike and his wife (indicating our price range) and we are very happy with their decisions and work. We gladly recommend Mike & his wife.

Ty did a good job. He was very professional and both discussed issues with us as well as explaining points of detail that we may have noticed some time in the future. He tied-up after the work and was no trouble to have around the house for a few days. We also had some cracks in a ceiling that we were planning to fix. It was clear Ty really understood how to make a good repair and was able to do that while he was with us. His repair is excellent. He will now also be helping us fix some creaking floor boards.

Our overall experience was a positive one. Riccardo & his Brother Sam worked very hard and did 2 great jobs for us. A bathroom refurbishment and a kitchen refurbishment. When we want any more work done on our property, we would have no hesitation in calling them back in again. Their costings were fair and we didn't feel at any time that they over price anything. They did all that we asked of them and more. They are very happy, friendly and obliging lads, as long as they get a couple of rounds of toast, tea & coffee, and ignore the singing lol. Seriously though if you want a great job doing at a reasonable price go to S & R Construction you wont go wrong. We are over the moon with the work we have had done by them Terri & Dave

They were excellent. My father-in-law is 91 and needed extensive work carried out on a bungalow ready to move in. From the start, Ryan made the whole process very easy. He talked through options, was patient whilst waiting for decisions and completion dates and once he started was prompt, reliable and extremely hard working. The standard of work was excellent and his friendly manner made what could have been an very stressful experience enjoyable. We are very grateful to Ryan and would recommend NJURA builders without reservations.

Ian and Rocco were very pleasant to deal with. It is a big project for us so we r a bit nervous to start with and had a few quotes back in, and as comparing to those big names, Ian’s offer is more competitive and their approach is more accommodating. So after a few site visits we decided to go ahead with Ian. We have a very tight schedule and would like to move in the new house in 8 - 12 weeks. We would like the job done before we move in. Ian managed to get the bespoke bifolding door and lateen room in time for installation after everything is build. We moved in 1 week after everything is completed. Overall very good job done. Formal contract signed with 10 years warranty. Ian and Rocco are friendly and trustworthy local trade. Better than those big names in our opinion. Hope this helps people like me to choose the right people for your job.

We needed extra storage under our stairs, so we had a bookcase at the front with extra storage at the back. The work was carried out within a day and a half and we are extremely pleased with the result. We also had a wardrobe and shelving built over the bulkhead in a bedroom and again we are extremely pleased with the results. I would recommend Josh for any carpenters jobs he worked quickly and competently clearing up any mess as he worked. We will most certainly use his services again.

I’m astonished at how helpful Jonathan Easton is. He carried out electrical work and safety check. Installed shower, fixed toilet and arranged for water mains to be fixed. He also did the exploratory work for the water leak underground. Everything was carried out so efficiently and effectively and I can’t thank Jonathan enough.
