Along story but a builder that u have on your site has stolen a large amount of money from us. We are going to report him to police aswell. We paid £6k upfront to buy equipment etc like scaffolding, skip, lime etc. We was having old blown render taken off our old house. Then having re rendered or pointed dep on the stone underneath. We said wed like to keep the stone and he just said fine and never discussed that it would be more work. There was some areas that definitely needing render. He did one layer of scratch coat and then pointed the back of the house. He's left all of the gable end bare and open to the elements plus partly rendered the ridge also. This work started in 2021 after covid and was meant to come back last summer to complete and didn't. Nor this year aswell. He took £500 a week from us so a total of £13k and only done half the job. This has made my husband and I very depressed as waiting every time it rains to get the next damp patch. So I don't want anyone else going through this. So pls take him down. Next step is to tell the police and trading standards. His trade name is Mj young plastering services.

I would like to say a big thank you to Jake who provided a 100% professional service to fix my floor board issues. He examined the floorboards and found a cheaper solution to my problem. He established that the nails were nailed in my floorboards that were causing the problem and replaced them with screws. The horrible noise has now completely gone. I will be calling Jake back for other jobs as i trust his judgement and he is polite and well mannered. i found Jake to be reliable and competent.
